Listen to the 911 Call: Woman Hemorrhages Following Abortion at Chicago Planned Parenthood

On January 29th, a Chicago pro-lifer sent us video footage of a woman being removed from a Planned Parenthood abortion facility on a stretcher and placed into an ambulance.

The Pro-Life Action League subsequently filed a Freedom of Information Act request to obtain the audio of the 911 call made by Planned Parenthood, which you can listen to in the video above.

Unlicensed Planned Parenthood Abortion Clinic Has Never Been Inspected

This Planned Parenthood facility in Chicago has been in operation since 1998 as an unlicensed abortion facility — and has therefore never been inspected by the Illinois Department of Public Health in over 21 years.

Is it any wonder that it’s proven to be unsafe?

On July 20, 2012, Tonya Reaves, age 24, had an abortion at this same Near North Planned Parenthood abortion clinic in Chicago. Following the abortion, she experienced bleeding, but it wasn’t until five and a half hours later that she was finally transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital.

Seven hours later, she was dead. In 2014, Planned Parenthood and the other defendants in the case agreed to pay $2 million to settle a wrongful death lawsuit brought by the father of Reaves’ only surviving heir.

Planned Parenthood’s 15th Medical Emergency in 28 Months

Since then, ambulances have been called to this Planned Parenthood abortion facility regularly. In fact, the January 29th incident marks the 15th medical emergency at this Planned Parenthood location in the last 28 months.

As mentioned above, this abortion facility has been unlicensed since it opened in 1998 and has thus never been inspected by the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH). And with the passage of Illinois’ so-called Reproductive Health Act last year, all abortion facilities are now likewise unlicensed and not subject to inspection to oversight by the IDPH.

Sadly, the “Reproductive Health Act” all but guarantees that there will be more ambulances called to Illinois abortion facilities in years to come.
