March 31, 2009—In the midst of the controversy over University of Notre Dame’s invitation to President Barack Obama to speak at their May 17 Commencement, League Directors Ann and Joe Scheidler visit the campus for Palm Sunday Mass, which happens to be celebrated by University President Fr. John Jenkins. Following the Mass, the Scheidlers join a rally held by N.D. Response (see Joe in prayer at the rally, left), the student group formed to oppose the Obama invitation. Ann Scheidler is interviewed by a camera crew preparing a video on the controversy for N.D. Response.
