40 Days for Life closes with “Do-It-Yourself” Pro-Life Concert

Aurora’s third 40 Days for Life campaign closed with our second “Do-It-Yourself” Pro-Life Concert, and it was a great ending to a great campaign. Pro-lifers gathered on the vacant lot outside Planned Parenthood Aurora to sing their favorite hymns and praise God for his kindness towards our Pro-Life efforts in the Fox Valley—and with five babies saved from abortion in the last week we have a lot to be thankful for. The video above is of pro-lifers singing “Spirit of the Living God” for our friend and long-time stalwart activist John Thorne. John is sick with lung problems and may not be long for this world, but when he was well, he was the first person to speak against Planned Parenthood at every City Council meeting, he came to every protest and prayed with incredible faithfulness. “Spirit of the Living God” is one of John’s favorite songs, he requested it at many pro-life events, so we sang it for him since he couldn’t be with us this time. Please pray for John and his health as well as his family in this time of illness.
