The Pro-Life Action League has made headlines on a variety of pro-life issues in recent months, across a broad spectrum of media. The League garnered outstanding local coverage of Face the Truth Tours, including WTVO Channel 17 TV in Rockford, Illinois on August 12.
The League’s battle with the City of Chicago over the new Bubble Zone there was heavily covered by Chicago TV, radio and print news media, and by national pro-life media outlets as well. League Executive Director Eric Scheidler was quoted extensively in newspaper, radio and TV news reports of the controverial abortion “opening day” in Naples, Florida.
League spokesmen were also interviewed on the continuing legal battle in Illinois over parental notification and the fight to keep abortion funding out of the health care overhaul. The League’s Corrina Gura and Matt Yonke were profiled in a RedEye newspaper cover story appearing December 23 on young pro-life activists.
