“Let no one have contempt for your youth…”

“Let no one have contempt for your youth, but set an example for those who believe, in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity.” 1 Timothy 4:12 Odds are you’ve heard these words before. Though the Apostle Paul was speaking to Timothy when he said this, I have always seen this bit of scripture as powerful and motivational words to encourage the youth of the pro-life movement. Some people may be condescending and spiteful toward you simply because you are young and interested in the pro-life movement. Don’t be discouraged. Your efforts may do more good than you know. I just recently went to my first pro-life rally, and after it was over people kept coming up to us and telling us how inspired they were to see so many young people involved. Even simply educating yourself and others about pro-life issues does a whole lot of good. Your efforts do not go unnoticed.
