A New Club

I was on retreat this week-end and ran into Sabina Kruse from St. Mary’s in Byron, IL. She was at the talk I gave a few months ago for the Rockford Diocese with her daughter and two of her daughter’s friends. She came up to me at the retreat all excited that the kids had started a club of their own. They’re calling themselves “Alpha Omega Teens for Life.” Alpha and Omega are Greek for beginning and end meaning they respect all life from conception until natural death. I thought it was a pretty creative name. Anyway, she’s supposed to send me some pictures of their group because I promised I would put them on our blog. So hopefully I’ll be posting that soon. It’s good to know that something concrete comes from our speaking.
