Last month, abortionist Alberto Hodari spoke to medical students at Wayne State University in Detroit about his career performing abortions. Video of the entire speech, along with captions, is now available online.
Abortionist Hodari: Doctors Have a “License to Lie”

In his speech, Hodari told students that doctors have a license to lie to their patients (34:05). Also in the speech, Hodari talks (38:57) about going to Mexico to do experiments on pregnant women that were outlawed in the United States. He invited students to come watch an abortion he performed (11:57) and he also spoke about how little he washed between abortions because it chafed his hands (12:13).
“To hear Hodari speak, one wonders if Michigan is the third world,” Students for Life of America (SFLA) Executive Director Kristan Hawkins said. “Planned Parenthood complains about ‘back-alley’ abortions, even though Hodari is running a business where he’s barely washing his hands between abortions.”
SFLA Student President Ashley Tyndall said, “Several women have died while getting abortions with Hodari, and yet the Michigan board of health has never investigated him. How many women have to die before the bureaucrats start telling Hodari to wash his hands and tell patients the truth.”
Charles Provan, R.I.P.
We received word on Wednesday from Pastor Matt Trewhella of the Missionaries to the Preborn that Charles Provan died on Tuesday, December 11.
Charles is perhaps best known for his book, The Bible and Birth Control, widely regarded as one of the premier works from the contemporary Protestant world arguing that contraception is sinful.
Trewhella writes:
If it were not for his book addressing the use of birth control, nine of my eleven children would not be here today. His book was what the Lord used to convince us NOT to use birth control. We saved money for two and half years after reading his book in order to undo my vasectomy. One year later, my son Jeremiah Stonewall was born! And the Lord continues to bless us ever since! There is no doubt in my mind that there are literally thousands of children alive today because of Chuck Provan who otherwise would have never been conceived and born. Once he spoke at an Unlicensed Church Conference that our church hosted. Two pastors just at that one meeting had vasectomy reversals because of what they heard!
Chuck was unassuming, but he was a wealth to the Body of Christ. He was a pleasure to talk with and a well-read historian. Military history was a particular forte of his. We will greatly miss him and the huge influence for righteousness that he had in the earth.
Chuck is survived by his wife Carol and nine children.
Pray for him. May he rest in peace.
Aurora Zoning Board of Appeals Update
Our case with the Aurora Zoning Board of Appeals over Planned Parenthood’s “Abortion Fortress” continues to progress. League Communications Director Eric Scheidler reports:
On Wednesday afternoon, our attorneys filed a Motion for Subpoenas [PDF], asking the ZBA to allow us to conduct expedited depositions of Zoning Administrator Ed Sieben, Building Official Herman Beneke and independent investigators Phillip Luetkehans and Richard Martens.
We want to depose these individuals to ascertain why the incorrect zoning designation was employed for more than two years on the Planned Parenthood site, and how Aurora city officials can claim that no zoning decisions have been made since October 2006.
We’re asking for expedited depositions because we’ve learned that Planned Parenthood’s occupancy permit is in truth only a temporary permit, set to expire in five days. In light of the zoning violations we’ve highlighted—especially the faulty zoning category used these past two years—we wonder how city officials can extend that temporary permit past the deadline.

JT Eschbach has posted video he took of Aurora pro-life activist Roger Earl talking to reporters about being threatened with arrest by Aurora police while standing with an open prayer book on the public sidewalk across from the Planned Parenthood facility during our monthly protest on November 17.
For our part, we remain undeterred. Our next protest at Aurora Planned Parenthood is this Saturday.
The cold weather and hectic nature of this time of year provide a great opportunity to show Planned Parenthood that our determination to drive them out of town has not wavered.
