For months Planned Parenthood/Chicago Area CEO Steve Trombley has been boasting that nothing would stop him from opening the new Aurora abortion mill on the scheduled date, Tuesday, September 18. It became a sing-song pledge of power and resolution and a firm belief that Planned Parenthood was calling the shots. Well, Planned Parenthood’s new 22,000 square foot, 7.5 million dollar abortion mill will not, we repeat NOT open on Tuesday, September 18.
Aurora Planned Parenthood’s Grand Non-Opening
Nor will it open on Wednesday, September 19…and it may not open at all. Judge Charles Norgle said Monday in U. S. District Court for the 7th Circuit, after listening to arguments from Planned Parenthood and City of Aurora attorneys, that he wants a full hearing on the matter on Thursday, September 20 at 10:00 AM. The question of whether Planned Parenthood can be opened after that is up in the air.
If the investigation for fraud is still going on the judge could still allow the mill to open, even before the investigation is completed, or he may order the mill to stay closed until that investigation in concluded. We don’t know what Judge Norgle will do, but we are encouraged that the mill is closed at least until Thursday. We also hope and pray that the investigation shows commission of fraud and the mill is never allowed to open.
They’re celebrating outside the abortion mill at 3051 New York St. Monday night beginning at 6:00 p.m. and again Tuesday morning at 8:00 a.m., the hour that the forty day vigil ends. There is also a party in Wheatland Community Park in Aurora from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 20. All who have taken any part in any way in keeping the abortion mill closed are invited to come and celebrate this victory over Planned Parenthood. They have been too few and far between.
Meanwhile, pray hard that the mill will stay closed until the end of the investigation and that the result will be a finding of guilty of fraud, so that the mill will remain closed for good. This would be a powerful incentive for other pro-lifers across the nation to turn more confidently to prayer and action.
