Relevant Radio’s Drew Mariani
Joe Scheidler and the Pro-Life Action League are proud to announce that Relevant Radio host Drew Mariani will deliver the keynote address at our Silver Jubilee celebration. On Oct. 2 the League will celebrate 25 years of pro-life activism at the Drury Lane in Oak Brook Terrace, IL.
Mariani has been an outspoken advocate of the pro-life movement and the pro-life message on his drive-time Relevant Radio program, The Drew Mariani Show. He particularly distinguished himself during the Terri Schiavo crisis. Joe Scheidler has appeared as a guest on the program.
Celebrating 25 Years of Peaceful Activism
Scheidler began to work full-time in the pro-life movement in 1973, following the Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade decision. He founded the Pro-Life Action League in 1980, recognizing the need for a national organization dedicated to fighting abortion through peaceful direct action in the spirit of Martin Luther King, Jr. and other civil rights leaders.
