The fourth annual Chicago Face the Truth tour kicked off Wednesday, July 9 with three sites in downtown Chicago: the overpasses of the Kennedy Expressway, Daley Plaza, and Madison Street at Wacker Drive. Tour veteran Tim Murphy called it the single best tour date in the four years the Pro-Life Action League has been conducting these campaigns.
The tour has continued with sites on Lake Shore Drive and other downtown locations, as well as several sites on the South Side. Response from passersby was more positive than otherwise, especially at Daley Plaza and 79th and Halsted.

A handful of pro-abortion activists have met us at a few sites to counter-protest, most notably at the Daley Center where they were vastly outnumbered by the four dozen pro-lifers who ringed the plaza. Their signs reading “Abortion on Demand and without Apologies” surrounded by pictures of horrifically aborted babies were an eerie testament to the evil of “choice.”
