League to Protest Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards in Chicago Tuesday

Cecile RichardsOnly days after coordinating the second wave of nationwide protests at Planned Parenthood facilities, the Pro-Life Action League will picket a talk by Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards in downtown Chicago. Richards is speaking at the Cadillac Palace Theatre, Tuesday October 13, on the topic of “Leading under Pressure” during Chicago Ideas Week.

The League will be there to protest, with signs reading “Cecile Richards: Abortion is always a BAD idea,” and a large banner reading, “Planned Parenthood sells baby parts.” Also on display will be large signs depicting abortion’s innocent unborn victims.

Richards has been in damage control mode for months, thanks to the string of undercover videos showing top Planned Parenthood doctors scheming to harvest and sell aborted babies’ body parts.

“Why is the head of the nation’s largest abortion chain speaking during Chicago Ideas Week?” asks Eric Scheidler, executive director of the Pro-Life Action League. “What new idea has Cecile Richards got to offer—other than harvesting the body parts of abortion victims in order to maximize Planned Parenthood’s profits?”

The League’s protest will kick off at 3:30 p.m. Central Time at the Cadillac Palace Theatre, 151 W. Randolph Street in Chicago (map). RSVP on the Facebook event page.
