April 17, 1997—League Director Joe Scheidler attends the Human Life International conference in St. Paul, Minnesota, which kicked off the night before with a special Mass attended by 2,600 people and a procession to the state capitol building. Joe speaks on the topic “What is a pro-life activist?” and then is serves as moderator for at talk by Brian Clowes (pictured right), entitled “Key to the Victory.”
