*Insert Alt Text*Today in League HistoryMarch 6, 1994—The League hosts its 14th annual banquet with a keynote address by Peg Luksik (pictured left), founder of a Pennsylvania home for unwed mothers. She says that although abortion advocates claim abortion has no victims, it actually has nothing but victims—the baby, the mother, the father and society. League staffer Tim Murphy is also honored at the event for his persistent presence outside an area abortuary every Saturday, setting up his picket signs even before the clinic staff arrive.
