August 16, 2007—The Pro-Life Action League hosts a press conference and standing-room-only community meeting in Aurora, Illinois in opposition to a huge new abortuary Planned Parenthood is building there. Speakers include League Director Joe Scheidler, American Life League’s Jim Sedlak and Thomas More Society attorney Jason Craddock. League Communications Director Eric Scheidler, who lives in Aurora, is quoted in the Aurora Beacon the next morning declaring, “Whether it’s 40 days or prayer or 40 years of effort, we will shut down the abortion fortress of Aurora.”
