April 16, 1994—The League pickets Chicago abortionist Jan Barton at both his American Women’s Medical Center abortuary and at his home. Barton is infamous for equating pro-lifers with the Nazis and boasting that members of his family died in the Holocaust. The Emergency Clinic Defense Coalition publishes a notice to members deploring the fact that they are “greatly outnumbered” by pro-lifers at Barton’s clinic, and complaining that they are overwhelmed. Joe thanks them for the compliment.
