March 27, 1984—League Director Joe Scheidler begins the first of two days of talks to students at Gordon Tech High School on Chicago’s north side. Joe upsets teachers with one of his remarks while addressing the humanity of children conceived by rape. He asks a student if he can say for certain that he was not conceived in an act of rape. The students get the point, but their teachers miss it.
