Pro-Life Student Sues Her School and Wins

A few weeks ago I wrote about a 6th grade girl in California whose mother sued her public school after the administration told her she was not allowed to wear her pro-life T-shirt in school, supposedly because it violated the school’s dress code, which prohibits “inappropriate subject matter.” This was the design on the girl’s shirt: The good news is that the school has agreed to settle the case, so the student, Tiffany Amador, has been awarded a judgment of $50,000. This is a great victory for pro-life students, and this case should make schools think twice the next time they try to unjustly silence pro-life students from exercising their constitutional right to speak out against abortion.
