Joe Scheidler works on garbage can full of babies for protestToday in League HistoryAugust 10, 1983—The League pickets liberal activist judge Prentice Marshall after he ruled unconstitutional a law which prohibited Illinois state funds from going to organizations that refer for abortion. The League’s picket includes an effigy of the judge, along with a garbage can full of mock baby parts. Signs include, Marshall Must Go, Dump Marshall, Abortion Kills and Choose Life.
