New guest blogger

Hi All! The GFL staff has kindly offered to let me blog here, and I’m most grateful for the opportunity! I’ll try to keep my posts concise, informative, and interesting. To give you an inkling of an idea of what I’m like, and a picture of who I am, please do read on! My name is Ava, and I’m an 18 year old avid pro-lifer, who has grown up in the Chicagoland area. I’m also a proud Roman Catholic papist, as well as a true feminist who loves to laugh, sing, debate, read, bike, kayak, play tennis, go resale shopping, watch movies, and munch on apples! That’s all you really need know about me, since most of my posts will be relevant to the pro-life movement, and not myself. I’ve been pro-life since before I was born, but didn’t start becoming truly active in the prolife movement until I was about 10 years old. That year my family took me (for my first time) to the March for Life held in Washington DC. This memorable experience impacted and influenced me to be more involved in the fight against the culture of death, especially abortion. Since then, I’ve attended numerous pro-life prayer vigils, marches, talks, conferences, abortion protests, and various prolife events, the majority of which have been coordinated and sponsored by the Pro Life Action League, to whom I’m most appreciative! Of late, I’ve been focusing my pro-life energy and time in prayer witnessing outside of my local abortuary, and at present am educating myself on how to be an effective sidewalk counselor. I look forward to blogging (though it’ll be sporadic at times), and will try not to be boring, as I educate myself and others on the absolute wrongfulness of abortion. God bless!
