Carol Everett. Anthony Levatino. Beverly McMillan. Joan Appleton. Joy Davis. McArthur Hill. What do these people have in common? All of them used to work in the abortion industry. Doctors Levatino, McMillan, and Hill used to perform abortions themselves. Joan Appleton was an abortion clinc nurse. Carol Everett and Joy Davis were abortion clinic administrators. But they all changed their minds and became pro-life. In 1987 — before many of you were even born! — our parent organization, the Pro-Life Action League, hosted its first Meet the Abortion Providers Conference, where former abortionists had the chance to tell their stories publicly for the first time: to reveal what led them into the abortion business, how their work killing babies affected their lives, and what eventually made them quit. Between 1989 and 1995, PLAL hosted four more Meet the Abortion Providers Conferences, allowing more former abortion doctors, nurses, clinic owners and others directly involved in abortion to tell their stories. Many of these stories are available on the two videos produced from these conferences — the first is simply called Meet the Abortion Providers; the second is Abortion: The Inside Story. (Partial transcripts of some testimonies are also available here.) Since we’re in the process of making them into DVDs, we’ve decided to give away the several dozen copies we still have on VHS. So, if you’re interested in learning about what makes abortion providers change their minds and become pro-life, dust off your VCR, and we’d be happy to send you the two videos for FREE. Just fill out our contact form, and in the Comments section of the form, be sure to say you’d like to receive the free videos.
