October 27 in Aurora—Be There!

If you live in the Chicago Metropolitan area mark your calendar now for Saturday, October 27 so you’ll remember to attend a massive rally at the new Planned Parenthood Abortion Fortress in Aurora, IL starting at 9:00 in the morning and concluding at 11:30.

This multiple-action protest, picket, and prayer walk will send a message to Planned Parenthood/Chicago Area personnel, abortion clinic doctors and staff and Aurora city officials that the battle to close this clinic is alive and well, and gearing up to win this battle in the courts.

Pro-Life Attorneys Preparing Major Case Against PP

A team of pro-life attorneys are preparing to go into court with the whole issue of fraud, deception and abuse of process on the part of Planned Parenthood. You will want to be part of this new effort to obtain justice for a change in the thirty-five year old abortion war.

The 1973 Roe v. Wade decision was the most horrendous miscarriage of justice in the history of the United States Supreme Court. Inventing a woman’s right to have her child killed in utero was the work of warped minds and godless wonders and it has no basis in law or morality and must ultimately be overturned. But until it is, we have to challenge the abortionists whenever we are given an opportunity, and we have one now. See you there.

Massive Pro-Life Forces Mobilized in Northern Ireland

That’s what they’re doing in Northern Ireland: challenging abortion legislation before it gets entrenched. We have just received an encouraging press release from Precious Life in Belfast, Northern Ireland, in which Bernadette Smyth, Director of Precious Life says she is confident that the majority of the Northern Ireland Assembly will vote in support of a motion opposing legal abortion.

Precious Life has more than 100,000 petitions against abortion to present to the First Minister, Rev. Ian Paisley. The terms of the present motion are:

This assembly opposes the introduction of the proposed guidelines on the termination of pregnancy in Northern Ireland; believes that the guidelines are flawed; and calls on the Minister of Health, Social Services and Public Safety to abandon any attempt to make abortion more widely available in Northern Ireland.

Good Luck, Bernie.

Brownback Drops Out

Most Pro-Lifers are unhappy with the news that Sen. Sam Brownback (R-KS) is dropping his presidential bid. While Brownback’s ratings remained in single digits throughout his campaign, he was right on the issues and an eloquent spokesman for pro-life and pro-family voters. We’ll miss him at the debates.

Maryland Citizens Speak Out on Zoning for Proposed Mosque

The Chicago Sun-Times Friday issue under “Religion,” has a story about a town in Maryland where some of the locals are not happy with plans for some Muslims to build a mosque and convention center on a nearby 224 acre farm. So they are demanding pubic hearings. The story says the building could be blocked by a measure under consideration by the town commissioners that would deny a zoning permit for certain buildings.

The point is, the people of a community have a right and the power to veto certain structures and businesses that they believe will conflict with their way of life, beliefs, values or even their tranquility.

What ever happened in Aurora? That question will be at the center of our investigation. Stay tuned.
