Guess who Said It—Pro-Life Trivia Game

Despite hate articles and frightful comments by some weird columnists, liberals and atheists, Rev. Jerry Falwell’s funeral drew more than ten-thousand mourners who recognized the greatness of this man who more than any single leader of our time galvanized the religious right into a powerhouse for good that remains today.

Only really mean people could hate Jerry Falwell.

New Pill Frankenstein & Co.

The ladies have a new birth control pill, all approved by the Food and Drug Administration, and it makes them sort of like men, it’s so powerful—no more natural periods. The FDA doesn’t think it’s dangerous to do away with normal cycles, although some critics do, but if it keeps a woman from having a baby it doesn’t really matter to the citizens of the brave new world whether it’s dangerous or not.

Planned Parenthood is gaga over the new pill, making comments like, “It’s just another option to meet a woman’s needs.” Of course, if a woman gets pregnant she won’t know it, because she can’t miss a period when she doesn’t have them any more.

Many women interviewed on the new pill are skeptical, calling it “odd, unnatural, unsafe, scary and unhealthy.” Other than that it’s just what the doctor ordered—Dr. Frankenstein, that is.

Guess Who Said It

I’ve just been looking over the comments of some old pro-lifers who had some wonderful things to say about preserving prenatal life. Try to guess who they are:

My personal feeling is that legalizing abortion is not in accord with the value our civilization places on human life. Wanted or unwanted, I believe human life even it its earliest stages, has rights that must be recognized: the right to be born, the right to life and the right to grow old. This generation should fulfill its responsibility to its children from the very moment of conception.

That was Senator Edward Kennedy of Massachusetts, back when he had a soul. How about this one:

What happens to the mind of a person and the moral fabric of a nation that accepts the aborting of the life of a baby without a pang of conscience? Our attitude, our value system, our mindset with regard to the nature and worth of life itself is the central question confronting mankind. Failure to answer that question affirmatively may leave us with a hell right here on earth.

That was the Rev. Jesse Jackson, before he switched to abortion-on-demand to guide him through life, and to garner him a few feminist votes. And who do you think said this:

I am opposed to abortion and to government funding of abortion. We should not spend state funds on abortions because so many people believe abortion is wrong.

None other than Bill Clinton. We could go on, but you get the picture. Brutus, Judas, Benedict Arnold, etc.

Think Again, Rudy

Meanwhile, pro-abortion Rudy Giuliani is confident that he can diffuse the social issues, like his support for abortion and gay marriage, and get everyone interested in the economy, lowering taxes, bringing down gas prices, getting the trains to run on time, and such like, so that religious people will go along like dumb driven cattle and allow abortion and other moral depravities to go unattended.

But Rudy is wrong. Rudy is whistling Dixie. We hope.

Pro-Life Vigil Saturday June 2

Plan now to attend a very special pro-life rally on Saturday, June 2, in Orland Park, when a gala Pro-Life Vigil will take place at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Orland Park starting at 8:30 AM. After Mass we will all hold a prayerful march to a nearby Planned Parenthood Express location and then return to Church. For information call our office at 773-777-2900.
