One of my co-workers and I just got back from praying and sidewalk counseling at a nearby abortion clinic, as we usually do on Thursday mornings. While we were praying the rosary, a middle-aged man driving by stopped his van in front of us, got out, and told us he needed help. He told us his wife had recently divorced him, and left him alone to raise their two children. Through tears, he told us that his wife was struggling with unresolved issues stemming from an abortion she had when she was seventeen — 27 years ago. He wanted to help her, but he didn’t know how. We gave him some information about Project Rachel, and urged him to call them. I told him he was a loving husband and father, and promised that we would pray for him and his wife. And I ask you, good readers, to pray for them also.
