On Tuesday, March 7, the Pro-Life Action League picketed Republican candidate for Illinois Governor Judy Baar Topinka at the Thompson Center in downtown Chicago. League members highlighted Topinka’s support for abortion with signs reading Life Yes! Topinka No! and graphic abortion signs, as well as flyers on Topinka’s pro-abortion stance.
Regrettably, Topinka defeated pro-life candidates Jim Oberweis and Bill Brady in the March 21 primary. She will face staunchly pro-abortion Democrat Rod Blagojevich in November.
