2003 Face the Truth Tour a Success
League Reaches Hundreds of Thousands throughout Chicagoland
The Pro-Life Action League reached hundreds of thousands of Chicagoans with the ugly truth about abortion during our 2003 Face the Truth tour. As many as twenty babies may have been saved. The tour began with three days downtown, including the first-ever expressway overpasses tour site, then moved out to the neighborhoods and suburbs.

League Joins Protest of Catholic Pro-Abort Politician
On September 30, pro-abortion Senate candidate Dan Hynes held a fundraiser in downtown Chicago ostensibly hosted by faculty and staff of his high school alma mater, St. Ignatius College Prep. The Pro-Life Action League joined Vote Life America in protesting this effort to associate Hynes' campaign with a Catholic institution.

On September 3, former pro-life activist Paul Hill was executed by the state of Florida for shooting abortionist Dr. John Britton and his bodyguard, which Hill claimed was justifiable homicide. National Director Joe Scheidler explains why killing abortionists is not justified and why, therefore, Paul Hill cannot be considered a pro-life hero.

In late June, Ann and Annie Scheidler conducted a sidewalk counseling training seminarand joined in prayer and counseling at A Woman's Choice, the local abortion mill. Their conversation with one of the clinic workers had amazing results.

Joe, Ann and Annie Scheidler visited scenic Myrtle Beach, NC for the National Life Center Convention of crisis pregnancy centers from around the country. The trio spoke at the convention, heard some fine talks, and had a great time as well.

As the new school year gets underway, the League's youth outreach division has come out with a new brochure. With help from summer employee John Jansen, Annie Scheidler and Mary Shine have completed work on the GFL Curriculum. They have continued to give talks around the country, and help teens set up pro-life clubs.
