In past years, the Pro-Life Action League has called on pro-lifers to pray for those involved in the abortion business during the season of Lent. Last year we asked you to pray for three criminal abortionists in jail.
This year, with the Planned Parenthood baby parts scandal so much in the news, we’re calling on the pro-life community to pray for three women at the heart of that scandal and the nation’s largest abortion chain: Dr. Deborah Nucatola, Dr. Mary Gatter and Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards.

The Faces of the Baby Parts Scandal
Deborah Nucatola appeared in the very first Center for Medical Progress undercover video talking coolly about dismembering babies over salad and wine at a fancy restaurant.
Mary Gatter appeared in a later video joking about how she’d like to buy a Lamborghini with the profits from selling aborted babies’ body parts.
And of course, Planned Parenthood Federation of America CEO Cecile Richards has been busy since the summer trying to sweep this scandal under the rug and repair Planned Parenthood’s tarnished image in the public eye.
Pray for your enemies, minister to the imprisoned
It can be difficult to pray for women like Deborah Nucatola, Mary Gatter and Cecile Richards. Their callous disregard for human life makes it hard enough to think about them, much less ask God to bless them and bring them to conversion. But Jesus’s own words require us to do so when He tells us, “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you” (Matthew 5:44).
These women continue to insist they’ve done nothing wrong, and in fact Planned Parenthood is suing David Daleiden, the man behind the undercover videos that expose their crimes! But that hardness of heart can be softened by God’s love.
If we don’t pray for these women, who will?

When we pray—especially when we pray together—Our Lord can work miracles. Let us pray for miracles in the lives of these three women who have done so much to separate themselves from God, but whom He loves all the same.
