April 6, 2003—League Directors Joe and Ann Scheidler join Fr. Pavone (pictured right) for Priests for Life’s New York Face the Truth Tour in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Despite unseasonable snowfall, the pro-lifers are extremely upbeat and reach thousands of motorists. The Scheidlers are surprised by New Yorkers’ response to the graphic display, which is much more apathetic than in Chicago or elsewhere around the country.
