League officeToday in League HistoryMarch 18, 1983—League Director Joe Scheidler arrives at the League office on LeMai Avenue in Chicago to find the front door, windows and sidewalk have been defaced with large globs of tar during the night. Because of this incident—the second act of vandalism against the office—the landlord of the building would refuse to renew the League’s lease, causing the League to move to new offices on Cicero Avenue.
