Can one father plus two mothers make one baby?
Two stories have come to my attention this week that are just sickening.
If you thought you’d already heard of all of the ways an unborn child—created in the image and likeness of God—could be disrespected, you were wrong.
The first story is a tale of one couple’s quest for “the perfect child” (though I’m sure they’d call it something else). When natural methods failed, they turned to in-vitro fertilization to create their children in a petri dish. Then, as per standard IVF procedure, the most viable candidates were implanted, the obviously “imperfect” embryos were discarded, and some more (likely) were frozen.
The woman became pregnant with two babies: a boy and a girl. Unfortunately for the baby boy, he had Down Syndrome. So, at 15 weeks gestation, the woman scheduled an abortion of the “imperfect” child.
Unfortunately for the baby girl, the abortionist killed her instead.
So the mother killed the baby boy in a second abortion, and sued the doctor for malpractice.
It wouldn’t surprise me in the least if she has since gone back to have some of the remaining (frozen) embryos implanted in her quest to give birth to a perfect child.
Still more parents are hoping for “perfect” babies, despite genetic diseases they carry, leading scientists in Britain to experiment with a procedure they are calling “three parent IVF.”
Scientists remove the “good” part of the woman’s cells, and stick it into a previously created fertilized egg (from IVF) which they have removed a part of.
The sickening part of this, though, is that one of the scientists on the project flippantly remarks, “What we’ve done is like changing the battery on a laptop.” To my utter disbelief, he shows no recognition of the moral implications of the creation of a child with three parents!

Hey Corrina: here’s an informative post about the new “three parent IVF”. As the diagram shows, they destroy two embryos to make the third. They try to avoid people noticing that pesky fact by calling the embryo a “fertilized egg”. Utterly disgusting.

For those that are having problems, conceiving a child, have them inquire about at their local pro-life clinic(at least at ours they offer), NAPRO, Natural Procreative Technology.
Human is a human from natural conception to natural death. U-486 & Plan B(Morning After Pill), more lies, exploitation of women and children for bloodmoney. Women are being used as guinea pigs.

I’ve started reading “Brave New World” again as a result of this story, and the level of disrespect that society has for the pre-born baby is terrifying–and very similar to what these scientists are doing, in a way!

Its such as you read my thoughts! You appear to understand so much about this, like you wrote the ebook in it or something. I think that you simply could do with a few percent to force the message house a little bit, however other than that, that is excellent blog. A great read. I’ll definitely be back.
