Pro-Life Action League National Director Joe Scheidler was featured on the CBS Chicago news on Tuesday, January 26 in reference to the recent controversy over the Tim Tebow Super Bowl commercial. Watch the full interview here.
Tebow, a college football superstar and Heisman Trophy winner, is the subject of an ad put together by Focus on the Family which CBS has agreed to air during the Superbowl.
In the ad, Tebow’s mother explains how, against doctors advice, she chose to continue her pregnancy with Tim despite complications that could have endangered her life.
CBS is catching flak from feminist and pro-abortion groups for daring to air an ad that might suggest that, as Joe says in the interview, life is better than death. Watch the video at the link below to hear Joe’s thoughts and get more information on the ad and the controversy it’s creating.

I think this is great! I don’t understand why there would be any controversy on this. We still have the freedom of speech. I love that this young man is waiting for marraige instead of like so many people bedding everyone and anyone. What a beautiful message this sends to young and older people. Stop playing house if you love each other that much get married and than share a bed!!! God Bless the Tebow family and a good decision that she made and I am sure not an easy one. I just wish he was a little bit older or I was a bit younger he is what I would love to find in a man!!!!!

Hey! What’s up? Aren’t the pro abortion folks pro CHOICE?What do they want others to CHOOSE between if they are? It’s very confusing. And another thing, the ad only tells what happens when a mom CHOOSES life. Abortion-lovers can show what happens when a mother CHOOSES abortion for her baby. They could respond back by showing a dead baby or a mother who is suicidal, etc.

The Pro-Abortion folks are not pro choice. They proved that when they tried to jam tax payer funded abortions in the health care debate, eliminating the choice and confirming abortion support as mandated by law. I just read an sickening article about fringe groups trying to get person-status for animals because they believe dolphins show signs of intellect (clearly these fringe groups don’t share the intellect). We don’t even give that status to human beings ALIVE in the womb. I think we forget that: the developing human in the womb is ALIVE.
Anyway–WAY TO GO TEBOW! ALWAYS LIKED HIM!

I forgot. Please allow me to add that failing to confirm personhood on the unborn is not the first time we as Americans have done such a crime. Recall the Dred Scott decision in the Supreme Court before the Civil War. The court decided that slaves were not persons but rather a non-person, property of the slave holder. As Lincoln said in regards to the sin of slavery, we will pay for the sin of abortion for a long time.
