On May 20, the Pro-Life Action League will join pro-life leaders and activists in Iowa to protest an appearance by Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards.
This is the same Cecile Richards who once called the pro-lifers who were opposing the opening of the huge Aurora, Illinois abortuary “some of the ugliest anti-choice protesters we’ve ever seen.”
Moms and dads with kids in strollers, grandmothers with their Rosary beads, high-school teens rallying on behalf of their unborn brothers and sisters—that’s what Cecile Richards calls “ugly.”
What I call ugly is the kind of gala celebration of abortion that brings Richards to Cedar Rapids next week. It’s the “Planning is Power” 30th anniversary of Planned Parenthood of East Central Iowa (PPECI) at the Cedar Rapids Marriott.
But abortion is nothing to celebrate. In the thirty years since PPECI was founded, over 185,000 unborn babies have been aborted in Iowa (source)—most of them by Planned Parenthood.
It’s no wonder that Richards is eager to visit Iowa. Planned Parenthood is desperate to legitimize their abortion business. They want to make abortion as American as apple pie, hiding it behind words like “choice” and “planning” and “empowerment.”
But we’re not going to let that happen.
If you live anywhere within a few hours drive of Cedar Rapids, I invite you to join the pro-life protest.
We’ll kick off at 4 p.m. in the parking lot of St. Pius X Church in Cedar Rapids, with the collection of baby goods for the local pregnancy centers. Planned Parenthood is pushing abortion on the poor women of Iowa, so we want to do what we can to help them reject abortion and choose life.
Then I will emcee a press conference at 4:30, with pro-life leaders from Iowa. Our message for the media is simple: “Abortion is nothing to celebrate!”
Then at 5 p.m., my staff and I will lead the pro-life group down the block to the Cedar Rapids Marriot, where Planned Parenthood is holding their abortion gala. We’ll tear the mask off Cecile Richards’ euphemisms about “choice” and “planning” and show Iowa what Planned Parenthood is really Abortion, Incorporated.

This makes me so sad as I am from Cedar Rapids and baptized my daughter at Saint Pius X. I am praying that you are very successful, and I promise never to stay at the Cedar Rapids Marriott again!

It’s people like you that made me move out of America. I couldn’t stand living amongst you closed minded, arrogant, religious freaks! Why don’t you learn to keep your opinions and beliefs to yourself, and let people live their own lives. I had to leave the country I was born in because of nuts like you. you have no idea how many lives you are ruining.
I hope your protest failed miserably and no one came! I’d be the one throwing a brick at you if I was there.

You can Parse this Farce, as its Logic Fallacies abound … the “piece” bolsters another “persuasive preponderance” of coordinated and integrated multi-media pretenses, which craft colorful and slanted slick content, advertising Planned Parenthood’s (PP’s) President, Cecile Richards — in all her primed “camera-ready resplendent magnificence” — expounding yet another branded iteration of psychobabble, gibberish and magnanimous grandiloquence that would foist PP, and her helmsman-ship tenure, upon the unwitting for another wastrel round. It rates as another blatant journalistic hatchet job and bloodied campaign. Summarily, Cecile’s rhetoric proffers tripe; namely, that she and PP ardently hone and responsibly deliver, singularly, as the only venue or option, provision of preventive health care to a staggering “…. 2.5 million women …”; specifically and predominately for …’err Birth Control. Hm. For starters, brutal logic holds that far less monetary outlay and far lower budgetary allocations … would yield vastly improved “rates of return”, so to speak, on investment capital ratios aka performance … Fewer poor persons’ babies [since, persons of means seek out other remedies] on a far humbler scale, suffice it to consider, the not so paternalistic, simple distribution of eg. 99-cent condom packets::Thrift-is-Good; Calculate…$363|S317|$293|70 MILLIONS;25|97 percent…Net-of-net…per-capital: WOW: What would Jane Hull think? Comparatively, factored…those sums seem paltry verses eg. the DoD tabs’ “lost” trillions to Black and Psy-Ops; par two? Over Its extended life-cycle, PP at best, has been driven by a convoluted mixed-mission statement; it has targeted, tractable and traceable, tens of millions of poor persons’ unborn babies {in genetic | bio-engineering realms, life “initiates”, in certain labs, using disparate admixtures | scenarios: point zero is known!}.
