December 1, 2007—The League sends a mission to Denver, Colorado to join a rally organized by Colorado Families Against Planned Parenthood, which is fighting the construction of a new Planned Parenthood mega-center similar to the Aurora “Abortion Fortress” opened in October. The group includes Joe, Ann and Eric Scheidler, League attorney Tom Brejca and sidewalk counselor JT Eschbach. Joe and Eric lead a protest at the building site and, along with Tom, speak at the rally. The League group also meets with local leaders to discuss strategies for fighting Planned Parenthood.
