Pro-lifers wear carnations at ZBA hearingToday in League HistoryNovember 28, 2007—The Aurora Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) finally meets to hear the an appeal of the city’s decision to issue an occupancy permit to Planned Parenthood, despite their lies to city officials and serious violations of the zoning ordinance. Over 100 pro-lifers attend the hearing, each wearing a red carnation as pictured to the right supplied by the League as a token of solidarity. Though the initial meeting deals only with procedural matters, League communications director Eric Scheidler is excited to have the zoning case finally under way.
