October 16, 2004—The League’s youth outreach division, Generations for Life, hosts its first annual Youth Leadership Conference at St. Mary of the Angels Church in Chicago, following up on a successful youth conference held in March. Teens pro-life leaders from as far away as Massachusetts hear talks from Joe Scheidler, Eric Scheidler, John Jansen and GFL Director Annie Casselman (pictured above), who describes how to organize and run a pro-life club with the aid of GFL’s new Pro-Life Curriculum.
