September 30, 2003—The League pickets a fundraiser at the Art Institute in Chicago for Catholic pro-abortion politician Dan Hynes, ostensibly hosted by St. Ignatius College Prep. Hynes was a classmate of League Directors Joe and Ann Scheidler’s son Joe, Class of 1985, and all seven Scheidler children attended the school. The League later discovers that many of the faculty members listed as supporting Hynes were not, in fact, his supporters, and had not given their consent to have their names listed.
