June 7, 2003—Joe Scheidler and the League celebrate their 8-1 Supreme Court Victory in the NOW v. Scheidler lawsuit with “Bring America Back to Life,” a rally at Chicago’s Federal Plaza. In the shadow of the Dirksen Federal Building, where the district court ruled against the League in 1998, hundreds of pro-lifers wave American flags as they cheer congratulatory speeches by a who’s who of national and international pro-life leaders. The rally is followed by a series of activism seminars at the Congress Hotel.
