On Saturday, February 2, 2008 the Pro-Life Action League, along with over
thirty Illinois pro-life organizations, is sponsoring SpeakOut Illinois, at Drury Lane Oakbrook. The conference theme is “Raising up a new generation.”
SpeakOut Illinois is an excellent way to commemorate the 35th anniversary of Roe v. Wade. It is an opportunity to increase your knowledge of pro-life issues and to learn how you can be more involved in changing the culture.
We have re-tooled the format this year to offer a “basics” track for anyone who is new to the pro-life movement, and an “advanced” track for seasoned pro-lifers.
Sign-in starts at 8:30 on Saturday morning. Complimentary coffee will be available and you can purchase a doughnut, bagel or sweet roll to go with it. The registration price includes a delicious lunch. And if you register by January 18 you will get the early-bird special price of $50!
This year’s conference program will again feature a concurrent program for high school age teens, TeenSpeak, presented by the League’s Generations for Life youth outreach division. The TeenSpeak registration form is available here [PDF].
