Barack Obama shocked the nation in March when he told us at a town hall meeting: “I’ve got two daughters if they make a mistake, I don’t want them punished with a baby. I don’t want them punished with an STD at the age of 16.”
Now we find out that the 17 year old daughter of Sarah Palin, the Republican Vice Presidential running mate, is pregnant. The Palin family told America, “Our beautiful daughter Bristol came to us with news that as parents we knew would make her grow up faster than we had ever planned. Bristol and the young man she will marry are going to realise very quickly the difficulties of raising a child, which is why they will have the love and support of our entire family.”
This is another wonderful testimony of the Palin familys pro-life commitment. Babies aren’t “punishment” for a persons “mistakes,” but they are a gift from God. James Dobson’s remarks on the issue sum it up very well: “The media is already trying to spin this as evidence that Governor Palin is a hypocrite…But all it really means is that she and her family are human. [They are] not just talking about their pro-life and pro-family values, but living them out even in the midst of trying circumstances.”
We have good news from Michigan. Abortionist Alberto Hodari and his Woman Care abortion clinic will be in court on Wednesday facing 12 counts of violation of the privacy of their patients. Monica Miller and the Citizens for a Pro-Life Society were the ones to uncover the negligence of Hodaris clinic. The clinic had disposed of hundreds of patient records and bio-hazardous waste and even the remains of several unborn babies in their dumpsters, violating a number of laws in the process.
Miller stated:
“We are glad that finally these charges against Hodari and the Woman Care clinic have been filed. We were confident all along that Hodari broke the law. The rights of all these women have been violated. What we found in the dumpster is a sign of absolute gross negligence on the part of this abortion practitioner and we hope that justice will be done now that Hodari and his clinic is being prosecuted.”

When a 14 year old girl abandoned her baby to die, China the dog took the child into her pen and kept her warm all night long. The natural instincts of this dog kept the baby from freezing to death. It seems that even dogs know that life is precious.
