Forgiveness Day

On Wednesday, September 21, the Pro-Life Action League presented a message of forgiveness with downtown Chicago commuters during the evening rush hour. Volunteers held signs at Wacker Drive and Madison Street showing Christ holding a tiny aborted baby in his hand with the caption, Jesus Forgives and Heals, while others passed out Project Rachel cards, with information on getting post-abortion healing.

Leafleters like Julie McCreevy, head of the League’s Helpers of God’s Precious Infants sidewalk counseling division, remarked that the crowds’ reception was rather cool. Nevertheless, over 1200 of the Hope after Abortion cards were distributed to downtown commuters. We pray that some of these cards will wind up in the hands of men and women who need them and that they will begin their journeys of recovery.

“Project Rachel Cards” Offer Hope

The Project Rachel cards [PDF] passed out during this “Forgiveness Day” debuted during our 2005 summer Face the Truth Tour. The cards have proven so popular with sidewalk counselors and others working in post-abortion healing that the League has made them available to other groups.

Please contact the Pro-Life Action League for information on obtaining copies of the new Project Rachel card [PDF].
