League Takes the Lead Exposing the Abortion-Birth Control Link

League Executive Director Ann Scheidler announces the Leauge's plan to hold a national conference on the pernicious effects of contraception. Not only does contraception backfire miserably as a way to reduce abortions, but it contributes to a host of societal problems, including divorce, cohabitation, sexually transmitted disease and poverty. "Contraception Is Not the Answer" will be held in Chicago, Sept. 22-23.
